A woman from Dublin who won an entire €500,000 in Daily Million Plus draw for Saturday has promised to use her winnings to battle homelessness in this capital. The lucky punter won the prize in the previous Saturday’s draw. After she picked her winnings today at Lotto HQ, she said her wish is to go to the streets to see as many homeless individuals as she is able to.
The overwhelmed winner stated, ‘This win belongs to all the individuals in Dublin who find it a challenge to get a bed at night.’ ‘I am a proud Dublin woman and I am heartbroken to see a lot of regular, honest individuals lose their homes in our city.’ ‘To commemorate my win, today I will use my time to visit many homeless individuals to help them financially. In future, I shall become dedicated to a strategy to assist as many of them as I can.’
The top prize winner of Daily Million Plus, who does not want her identity revealed, bought her ticket in Palmerstown, Dublin 20 at Newstime shop on the draw day. She also said, ‘I normally do not paly the draw for Daily Million. This decision was made without much thought, when I purchased my Lotto ticket.’ ‘On Saturday night at 9.30pm, as I examined my Lotto numbers, I recalled my Daily Million ticket.
